Geographical position
Boboshtica is an important tourist destination of Korça, with a hilly-mountainous position. It is distinguished by a wonderful nature with clean air and waters, diverse vegetation with shrubs, centuries-old fruit trees, oaks and conifers, as well as many medicinal plants. The rich terrain gives you the possibility of a variety of recreational and sports activities such as sports walking, running, cycling, mountaineering, skiing, skydiving, etc.
Background
Small stone houses with special architecture, churches, bridges, fountains, cobbled streets, squares offer excellent opportunities for cultural and historical tourism.
Customs and traditions
There are two elements that make this village special from others. The language still spoken by the old inhabitants and the centuries-old mulberries, from which the famous yellow-green mulberry brandy is also produced. There are still old houses left in Boboshtica, where carpets are woven according to the traditional way with looms.
Traditional holidays
The biggest festivals of Boboshtica are the feast of St. Mary on August 15 and “Rosicat”, a traditional festival with massive participation of Boboshtica women dressed in traditional costumes.

Boboshtica is also rich with many taverns where traditional food is served such as saç cabbage, fried pancakes, petanik, different types of meat, etc.
Attractions
Visitors can visit cultural monuments such as the museum, 1000-year-old churches, Saint Mary’s Monastery, etc. At the exit of the village on a hill, on the not so high eastern side, there is the monastery of Saint Kolli. Towards the northwest, there is the old church of Saint John, built in the 12th century and rebuilt in the 15th century. Even closer to mana is the church of Saint Dhimtri, which belongs to the 17th century.
